I've always envied patisseries that display those gorgeous mini cakes with delicate designs that made you feel guilty just for eating it. Just for the art of it, I've always wanted to be able to do that. But, at the end of the day, all that really matters is the taste.
Food art is something I've never really tried but always wanted to try. Like, a Rilakkuma bentou or cappuccino cream art or something. I like when food just looks like good food, too, though. Like, it's not so fancy, but presentation does matter. The whipped cream atop a latte, for instance, or a few parsley leaves to garnish mushroom stroganoff, or the moist chocolate chip-ness of a chocolate chip cookie. Those are all art in some way or another, as well. And it's art that you want to eat.
